Here is your goodnight candle. I visited the wild cherry tree at Putney Vale where we scattered your ashes. I tried to go on Monday, but was too late to get into the cemetery. I left you flowers and a king strawberry. I also visited my grandparents and my daddy and our neighbour Ellen Slater, who was a lovely woman. I don't think you met her, but she was very warm hearted. I told you how much I missed you and loved you. On the way back I got the wrong bus and ended up going through Barnes and ending up at Putney Bridge, which both made me think of you because of your family and because of the Boat Race, which is this weekend and which you always watched.
