Dear JemJem, Happy Easter my darling. Here I am again with your goodnight candle. I still love and miss you very much, and I wish very much that you were still with me. The weather is still wet but less cold. The temperature now is 11 degrees, and will remain there, rising to a high of 14 degrees at lunchtime. We shall have light rain and breezes: I still do not care for the idea of snow after Easter. I wish we were going to Witney to see your auntie and your sister as we used to do. I thought of you when I saw Dave Allen, who was my Daddy's favourite comedian. I am still reading Mary Queen of Scots .
