Dear JemJem, Here I am again with your goodnight candle. I still love and miss you very much, and I wish very much that you were still with me. The weather is slightly colder, but no snow and less rain. The temperature now is 11 degrees, and will rise to 15 degrees at lunchtime. We shall have light rain and breezes again: it will not be as fine as yesterday. I am still reading Mary Queen of Scots, very slowly. I saw Mummy again today, she is not enjoying being in hospital and they are not discharging her tomorrow. I thought of you when I had meatloaf for lunch, for you loved beef. All my love forever.
