Dear JemJem, Here I am again with your goodnight candle. I am sorry I am late and that I missed yesterday's candle - the usual story, I went for a nap and slept for hours. I still love and miss you very much, and I wish very much that I could be with you now. My arm is still very painful, though more flexible in its range of movement, and my hip is still quite bad when I have been doing my exercises. The back pains are better. The weather was sunny then overcast today. The temperature is now 6 degrees, light cloud and a gentle breeze, and will stay there before rising to 10 degrees, thick cloud and a moderate breeze. Snow has killed twenty people in continental Europe. There was a spectacular rescue where a rescue helicopter pilot buried its nose in the snow to stabilize it long enough for the crew to jump out and rescue injured climbers. I had cereal for breakfast again, and chicken salad sandwich with sweet potato salad for lunch. The new telly and phone are still smarter than me, and although I think I am improving I am far from mastering either. I had to retune the telly and now all the channels have changed. I phoned the chemist and she could not hear me though I could hear her. I had chicken satay for supper. I am watching Castle. I watched Hannay earlier which you would have liked because he spends lots of time on steam trains and in Scotland, two of your favourite things. All my love forever, Angies xxxxx
