Dear JemJem, Here I am again with your goodnight candle. I still love and miss you very much, and I wish very much that I could be with you now. My arm is still very painful, though generally more flexible in its range but not very strong, and my hip is still quite bad when I have been doing my exercises which I am not very good at doing. The weather was mostly overcast and wet today though we had a little sun in the morning. The temperature is now 9 degrees, part cloud and a moderate breeze, and will sink to 7 degrees before rising to 9 degrees, light cloud and a gentle breeze. Snow has now killed more than twenty-one people in continental Europe, the USA and Scotland. I had cereal and toast for breakfast, and chicken sandwich for lunch. The new telly and phone are still smarter than me, and although I think I am improving I cannot master either. I had feta cheese salad for supper. I am watching The Cat and the Canary. I watched Colombo earlier which you would have liked because you liked detective shows. He was on a cruise with his wife. I remember how you loved going to Madeira on a ship. I thought of you when I saw an advert for Great Rail Journeys on the TV and wished I could have taken you on one. All my love forever, Angies xxxxx
