Dear JemJem, Here I am again with your goodnight candle. I still love and miss you very much, and I wish very much that I could be with you now. I am sorry I am late with today's candle: I was watching Poirot. My arm is more painful now, and still not very strong. My hip is still quite bad and my knees hurt. The weather was sunny in the morning again and very wet and windy later on, with some snow. The temperature now is 2 degrees, sleet showers and a gentle breeze, and will sink to 0 degrees then rise to 5 degrees, sunny intervals and a gentle breeze. Weather warnings have been issued for snow in the London area. I had cake for breakfast, scampi and salad again for lunch and macaroni cheese for supper. The new telly and phone are still smarter than me. I am watching The Thirty Nine Steps with Robert Powell which is the thriller from which the series Hannay was a spin-off: it is the third film made from the Buchan novel.
