Dear JemJem, Here I am again with your goodnight candle. I still love and miss you very much, and I wish very much that I could be with you now. I am sorry I missed yesterday's candle. I am very sleepy. My arm is painful and not very strong. My hip is quite bad and my knees hurt and my legs are stiff. The temperature now is 5 degrees, partly cloudy and a gentle breeze, and will first sink to 3 degrees then rise to 9 degrees, sunny intervals and a gentle breeze. I had toast with cheese for breakfast, beef rolls for lunch and prawns with egg fried rice for supper. The new telly and phone are still smarter than me. I think they always will be. I thought of you when I visited Yvonne yesterday and I thought of you when I watching The Thirty Nine Steps, and seeing Hannay take the beautiful steam train from St Pancras and continue on the run through the Scottish countryside.
