Dear JemJem, Here I am again with your goodnight candle, yet another special Christmas one while it is still the season. I still love and miss you very much indeed,and am sorry to be starting another new year without you. I am not so sleepy today. but still very tired. I saw Mummy today to wish her a happy new year, and will not repeat what she said. It is still very windy and quite rainy and cold and the next week does not look to be much more cheerful. There is supposed to be a wolf moon tonight at 2.24am and a blue moon on the 31st. I wish you could see them. I thought of you when I saw The White Princess. I probably like it more than you would, since it is early Tudor and you are a Stuart man, but I don't think it is as historically accurate as it might be. I am still missing you very much this festive season. I am still reading my counterfactual book, on the chapter about what would have happened in British politics if Tony Benn's elder brother had not been killed in the second world war, and inherited the peerage instead.
