Dear JemJem, Here I am again with your goodnight Christmas candle. Merry Christmas and a happy new year darling. I still love and miss you very much, and I wish very much that I could be with you now and that we could spend Christmas and NewYear together. My arm is still very painful, and although my hip is hurting less it is still so bad I find it hard to walk. I'm still getting bad back pains. You would have liked Wendy's card: a jokey one with a mouse playing an organ. The weather was overcast all day. The temperature is now 9 degrees, light clouds and light winds, and will rise to 10 degrees, light cloud and a gentle breeze, but it doesn't look as if we shall have sunshine on the last day of the year. Happy Holidays anyway my darling. I had porridge for breakfast followed by teacakes and crumpets but no lunch because I didn't wake up till noon. The new telly is still smarter than me. I had pork pie for supper. Our digibox is not going to turn up now. I thought of you when I was watching more reruns of The Chase and Millionaire and wishing you were with me to watch them.
