Lit by Angies 22nd January 2019
Dear JemJem, Here I am again with your goodnight candle. I still love and miss you very much, and I wish very much that I could be with you now. My arm is more painful now, and still not very strong. My hip is still quite bad and my knees hurt. The weather was sunny in the morning again and cool later on. I slept a great deal again today, not waking up till 4.15pm from my post lunch nap. The temperature is now 6 degrees, heavy rain and a gentle breeze, and will sink to 3 degrees before rising to 5 degrees, light rain showers and a gentle breeze. I had porridge for breakfast, chicken sausage baguette and salad for lunch and sausage roll for supper. The new telly and phone are still smarter than me, and they let me know it. I am watching Henry V which you would have loved. He is just going incognito round the camp on the night before Agincourt, and is about to provoke his own soldiers. I was also watching Castle, Bones and Hannay earlier which you would have liked, but he was travelling around the Fens on horseback, not on a train. I missed the new BBC adaptation of your favourite book Les Miserables because I thought it was on Monday night and it is on Sundays. https://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/p06t5zcw. Henry is saying his prayers now. All my love forever, Angies xxxxx
