Dear JemJem, Here I am again with your goodnight candle. I still love and miss you very much, and I wish very much that I could be with you now. My arm is still painful, somewhat inflexible and not very strong - I am still not very good with my meds or my exercises. My hip is not so bad but my knees hurt and my legs are still stiff. The temperature now is 10 degrees, heavy rain and a moderate breeze, and will stay there then rise to 13 degrees, light rain showers and a moderate breeze. I had toast for breakfast, salami for lunch and chicken for supper. The new telly and phone continue to be smarter than me. I thought of you very much again today when I was at the hospital: I was watching Talking Pictures on television and saw a drama with Rex Harrison and Lili Palmer, about a man on trial for his life at the Old Bailey: it made me think of your father.
